A Personal Tailor Online, Built Around Your Budget

A personal tailor should fit your life, not just your measurements. Cardero's process starts with a Wardrobe Plan that maps what you actually need, then builds it with you piece by piece, on a budget you set, with payment plans available on larger orders. A year in, you own a wardrobe that lasts, not a closet of one-off purchases.
A personal tailor online is not someone you buy one suit from. It is someone you keep going back to, the same way you keep going back to the same barber or the same doctor, because they already know your build and your life and do not make you start over every time. That is the relationship whether you are in the Fraser Valley or ordering from across Canada and the United States. Your personal tailor, wherever you live.
Here is what that actually looks like at Cardero, start to finish.
It Starts With a Wardrobe Plan
Every relationship starts the same way: a 45 minute Wardrobe Plan, one to one with Derek Burbidge, who has personally dressed thousands of men since 2015 and runs every call himself. He works through your job, your build, your colouring, and what you already own. You do most of the talking. He does the thinking.
You leave with a digital style profile that is yours to keep: your colour palette, the gaps in what you own, and a buy-next order with the reasoning behind each step.
Then We Build, Piece by Piece
You do not order everything at once. Each time you are ready for the next piece, it is already decided, the next best product for where your wardrobe actually is, not whatever happens to be on sale. Your first suit, then the shirts and trousers that make it multiply, then the pieces that add character once the foundation is done. Every order after your first is a conversation about cloth, since your measurements are already on file.

Built On Your Budget, Not Around It
You set the pace. Some men build a full wardrobe in a month, most build it over a year, buying the next piece when their budget allows it rather than all at once. Payment plans are available on larger builds, bi-weekly or monthly with an initial deposit, so a full wardrobe never has to be a single bill. Ask about it at your appointment.
A Year From Now, a Wardrobe That Lasts
This is the actual payoff. Not a closet of pieces bought on impulse and worn twice, but a coordinated wardrobe, built on your schedule and your budget, made to measure so it still fits and still holds up years later.

FAQ
Do I have to buy a whole wardrobe at once?
No. Most men build over a year, ordering the next piece when they are ready. Your Wardrobe Plan gives you the order to buy in, but the pace is entirely yours.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, bi-weekly or monthly with an initial deposit on larger wardrobe builds. Ask about it at your appointment.
What happens after the Wardrobe Plan?
You get a digital style profile to keep: your colour palette, the gaps in your current wardrobe, and a buy-next order. You can build it with us, or use the profile anywhere, at your own pace.
Not sure what to buy next? A Wardrobe Plan is forty-five minutes one to one with Derek Burbidge, our founder, working through what you already own, what suits your colouring and your work, and exactly what to add next. You leave with a written plan, and it works wherever you live.
