A store sells you a size. Our suits are drafted from 21 of your measurements at our Langley studio, a straight run south over the Golden Ears Bridge, so the shoulders, chest, waist and trousers are cut to you before the cloth is ever sewn.
Wool blend starts at $899, the blend with 3% stretch at $1,049, Super 120 at $1,299 and Super 150 at $1,699. For Pitt Meadows and west Maple Ridge, our Coquitlam studio on Lincoln Ave is the other easy option.

Whether the reception is on a fairway or by the mountains at Golden Ears, a Maple Ridge groom gets a wedding suit built to his measurements and kept for years. For black tie, any cloth in our books can be made as a tuxedo for $75 more, with midnight blue, jacquard and paisley dinner jackets for the evening.
The suit is made in about six weeks, so around four months before the date gives everyone room to breathe, and two or three months still works. If the date is closer, reach out: we rush when a date is close.
Alterations on our garments are covered.
We are not an alterations shop and we do not take in clothing from other stores. Every suit and shirt we make, though, is looked after: when it arrives we send a fitting form and reach out personally, and anything that needs adjusting in the first 30 days is handled by a local tailor at our cost.

For most of Maple Ridge it is our Langley studio at 19951 80a Ave, south over the Golden Ears Bridge. From Pitt Meadows, our Coquitlam studio at 3030 Lincoln Ave is a bit further away. Both are private and by appointment, and the first appointment is complimentary.

What if something needs adjusting after delivery?
Tell us and we take care of it. In the first 30 days, alterations on our garments are handled by a local tailor at our cost, and the change goes into your file.
How long does a custom suit take?
About six weeks in production. For a wedding, around four months out is ideal, and if your date is sooner, reach out and we will tell you honestly.

Where is the best place to buy a men's suit near Maple Ridge?
It depends whether you want to buy a suit off a rack or have one built for you. Our Langley studio, a short drive from Maple Ridge is private and by appointment, your 21 measurements are taken and kept on file, nobody works on commission, and the first appointment is complimentary. If you want the suit cut to your body instead of altered to fit, that is the difference.
Is Cardero a suit store or a tailor?
Neither, exactly. There is no shop floor and no rack to buy from, and we are not an alterations shop. We are a made-to-measure studio: your suit is cut from your own 21 measurements in the cloth you choose. Alterations after delivery are covered and handled by a trusted local tailor.
Do you dress athletic builds and big and tall men in Maple Ridge?
Yes, and it is the most common reason men come to us. Off-the-rack sizing assumes an average build, so a heavy chest, broad shoulders, or a longer torso ends up fighting the jacket. Cutting from 21 measurements solves that at the pattern stage instead of at the alterations bench.
