Made-to-Measure Suits Online, Shipped Anywhere in Canada

You do not need to live near one of our meeting rooms to order a properly fitted made-to-measure suit. Here is how the online process actually works, and what to watch for from sellers who call themselves bespoke.
You do not need to walk into a studio to get a suit built to your own measurements. Cardero has been fitting clients across Canada who have never set foot in Langley, and the suit ships to your door the same way it would if you had walked in.
Here is what the process actually looks like, and one thing to watch for while you are shopping around online.
How Ordering Online Works
You fill in the measurement form on the website and send two photos with it. Derek cross-references your numbers against those photos and approves every single form himself before anything is cut. If the numbers and the photos disagree, he reaches out before the fabric is touched. Nobody measures alone and hopes.
Self-measuring is not difficult, but it is not something we hand you and walk away from either. The form talks you through each measurement, and the approval step is there to catch what a tape measure in your own hands can miss.
Production runs five to six weeks, the same timeline as any Cardero order. The suit ships directly to you, wherever you are in Canada.
If something needs refining once it arrives, the alteration is handled locally to you at our cost. Your measurements are then updated on file, so the next order starts from a finished, proven set of numbers rather than from scratch. You never measure again.
Where the Wardrobe Plan Fits
The Wardrobe Plan is a different thing, and it is worth being clear about what it is not. No measurements are taken on it, and no suit is designed on it.
It is 45 minutes on your colouring, the wardrobe you already own, the way you dress now, the work you do and the clients you do it in front of, and what you actually need clothing for. What comes out of it is a structured plan: your colour palette, the gaps in what you own, and what to buy next in what order, with the reasoning behind each step. You keep that whether or not you ever order a garment.
Book it if you do not yet know what you need. If you already know you want a suit and you want help choosing cloth, colour and details, that is a different conversation and a shorter one.
Who This Is Actually For
If you have already worked out what made-to-measure means and how a studio visit works, ordering online solves the same problem for men who cannot make it to Langley, Abbotsford, or Coquitlam, whether that is distance, a packed schedule, or simply preferring not to spend an afternoon on it.

A Word of Caution Before You Book Anywhere
A lot of online suit sellers describe themselves as bespoke. Almost none of them are. True bespoke means a pattern drafted from scratch, by hand, for one person, with several in-person fittings in a test garment sewn in cheap cloth before a stitch of the real fabric is cut. That cannot happen over the internet, no matter how the site is worded. If a company is selling you a suit measured at home and calling it bespoke, you are paying bespoke prices for a made-to-measure product, or something short of even that.
Made-to-measure, done properly, is not a compromise. It is a garment built to your own measurements rather than a standard size, and it is what most men are actually looking for when they use the word bespoke. Ask any online seller directly whether they draft individual patterns and run in-person fittings. If the answer is no, you are looking at made-to-measure, whatever the page calls it. Know which one you are paying for before you order.
FAQ
Do I need to visit a studio in person to order a made-to-measure suit?
No. You can complete the whole order online. You fill in the measurement form, send two photos, Derek approves the form before anything is cut, and the finished suit ships to your address.
Are measurements taken on the Wardrobe Plan?
No. The Wardrobe Plan never involves measurements and no garment is designed on it. It covers your colouring, your existing wardrobe, your style, your work and what you need clothing for, and it produces a structured plan. Measuring happens separately, after.
Is an online "bespoke" suit actually bespoke?
Almost never. Bespoke requires a hand-drafted pattern and in-person fittings in a test garment, which cannot happen entirely online. A suit built from measurements you sent in and an adjusted pattern is made-to-measure, regardless of what the seller calls it.
Not sure what to buy next? A Wardrobe Plan is forty-five minutes one to one with Derek Burbidge, our founder, working through what you already own, what suits your colouring and your work, and exactly what to add next. You leave with a written plan, and it works wherever you live.
